Homenetmen DC Scouts Shine at the 35th Regional Scout Camp in Milton, MA

The Washington D.C. Scouts proudly represented our community this past week at the 35th Regional Scout Camp (“Panagoum”) held in Milton, Massachusetts. With enthusiasm, discipline, and team spirit, our chapter made a lasting impression and brought home top honors!

We are thrilled to announce that the Homenetmen D.C. Scouts were awarded “Best Chapter” at the 2025 Eastern Regional Panagoum, a recognition that highlights the hard work, dedication, and unity of our scouts and leaders. This achievement is a true testament to the spirit of camaraderie and leadership that defines our chapter.

In addition to the chapter award, we are especially proud to celebrate the outstanding individual accomplishments of our scouts. K. Mary Markarian was named Debar Scout of the camp, a remarkable honor that reflects her dedication, character, and commitment to scouting values.

We also congratulate Y. Aramik Alahverdian and Y. Shant Mehranian for successfully achieving their Vgayal Gark rank and badges — a significant milestone in their scouting journey and a moment of pride for the entire chapter.

This success would not have been possible without the commitment and energy of our scouts, the guidance of the leadership, and the unwavering support of our volunteers and families.

Congratulations once again to all our scouts! We look forward to building on this success and continuing to represent the Greater Washington D.C. community with pride.
