The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) Eastern Region will host its 19th Annual Gala on October 11th at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center in Washington, DC, where it will proudly honor Dean Shahinian, Esq. with the inaugural Service & Spirit Award.
This new award recognizes individuals whose lifelong commitment to public service and generous philanthropy has fortified the Armenian Cause, while upholding the enduring values of Armenian faith, identity, and intergenerational continuity. Honorees embody a spirit of service rooted in civic engagement, as well as in the preservation of sacred traditions and devotion to the Armenian people.
Dean Shahinian exemplifies this legacy of service through his transformative support for Armenian youth, education, and the Armenian Church. He is the principal sponsor of the ANCA Rising Leaders program, a national initiative that annually brings dozens of Armenian American students to Washington, DC for immersive training in advocacy, civic responsibility, and public policy.
Thanks to Mr. Shahinian’s steadfast support, the program has become a powerful springboard for a new generation of Armenian American leaders dedicated to justice, democracy, and service.
