Hamazkayin DC Van Dance Ensemble Resumes Dance Practices

The Hamazkayin Washington, D.C. Chapter’s Van Dance Ensemble is a vibrant Armenian dance group dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional Armenian folk dances. Named after the historic Armenian city of Van, the ensemble reflects the rich cultural heritage of Armenia while fostering a sense of unity, pride, and identity within the community.

Mission and Purpose

The Van Dance Ensemble was established to showcase the beauty and diversity of Armenian dance traditions. The group aims to:

Sevak Amroyan Shines Bright at Armenian Cultural Night: A Spectacular Celebration of Heritage and Music

On September 14, 2024 ARF Sebouh Gomideh hosted a spectacular Armenian Cultural Night, featuring the renowned artist Sevak Amroyan! His heartfelt performances captivated the audience, bringing the rich sounds of Armenian music to life. Complementing the evening’s performances, the Hamazkayin DC Van Ensemble dance group delivered an outstanding show. Their graceful movements and traditional dances beautifully showcased Armenian heritage, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. With more than 300 people in attendance who had a wonderful time, the event was a true celebration of Armenian culture and unity, making it an unforgettable night for all.
